Day 1: Arrive at Mumbai - most flights arrive either in the evening or at night. Our services begin here. You are greeted at the airport by an Easy Tours Travel Facilitator, and ushered to a chauffeur driven vehicle. You are then driven to your hotel where you are assisted with your check-in. The next day’s plans are briefly reviewed and you are presented with your welcome package. Among other things, this package includes a beautiful handcrafted journal for your explorations, travel documents such as your air tickets and hotel vouchers, as well as copies of documents (such as our General Travel Guide) that were sent to you earlier.

Day 2: Mumbai - Diu - Sasan Gir. You are at leisure first thing this morning to rest and recuperate from your international flight. Later, check out from the hotel and you are driven to the airport where you board the early afternoon non-stop flight to Diu. You are greeted at the Diu airport and driven to Gir National Park. Check in to your hotel upon arrival.

Day 3: Sasan Gir. Covering an area of 1150 square kilometers including around 300 square kilometers that forms the core area of the National Park, The Gir offers many excellent drives through scenic areas. Earlier the royal hunting ground of the Nawab of Junagadh, Gir was later earmarked as a protected forest in 1975.
The main carnivores of the park are the Asiatic Lion, Leopard, Jungle Cat, Hyena, Jackal, Mongoose, Civet Cat, and Ratel. Desert Cats and Rusty Spotted Cats are very rare. The main herbivores of the Gir are Chital, Nilgai, Sambar, Chowsingha, Chinkara and Wild Boar. In the adjoining forest there is a small population of Blackbuck. Among the smaller mammals, Porcupine and Hare are common but the Pangolin is rare. The reptilian fauna is represented by Crocodile, the Star Tortoise, the Monitor Lizard and a number of species of snakes. Python are also found sometimes along the stream banks.
Gir is the last bastion on earth for the wild Asiatic Lion, and their conservation efforts have surely saved this majestic species from extinction.
Enjoy wildlife safaris into the park in the morning and afternoon.

This wildlife sanctuary is a part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. The original forest was once a private hunting ground for the former Maharajas of Mysore. Later in 1955, this sanctuary was developed around a beautiful water reservoir which was formed after the construction of a dam on the Kabini River. Twenty years later, it was chosen as a national park.

It is also home to India's Big Four - The Great Indian One Horned Rhinoceros, the Asiatic Elephant, the Asiatic Wild Buffalo, and the Royal Bengal Tiger. Sighting of tigers is difficult because of the tall grasses that provide excellent camouflage.  Kaziranga National Park is also one of the finest birding destinations in the world. Day 13: Bandhavgarh. Enjoy morning and afternoon safaris into the Park. The density of the tiger population at Bandhavgarh is relatively high. The park is also densely populated with animals like the chital (Spotted Deer), sambar (Barking Deer), nilgai (Blue Bull), and chausingha (Four Horned Antelope). A large variety of different species of birds is also found here.
The ramparts of the Bandhavgarh Fort provide a home for vultures, blue rock thrushes and crag martins. The terrain is rocky, with hills rising sharply from the swamps and surrounding densely forested valley. The most imposing of these hills is Bandhavgarh, which is bounded by great cliffs of massive rock. The 2000 year old Fort stands on the top of this hill. There is a temple at the fort that can be accessed only on foot and with prior notice to the authorities; however this permission can be hard to get.
